Prohibits employers from terminating an employee who is a parent, guardian, or custodian and leaves work after being notified by a school employee, community worker, or law enforcement officer of a child's emergency.

Prohibits employers from threatening to terminate an employee's employment for receiving notification of a child's emergency during work hours and leaving work to attend to that emergency.

Allows employers to terminate or threaten termination if an employee excessively abuses the protections provided under this section.

Adds section 23-205 to Arizona Revised Statutes Title 23, chapter 2, article 1, relating to employment practices and working conditions.
