AZ SB1114

Establishes a Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport study committee consisting of 2 bipartisan state senators, 2 bipartisan state representatives, and 3 public members appointed by the governor and legislative leaders.

Committee shall study the airport's expansion ability, capacity to service a larger metropolitan area, feasibility of additional airports to relieve air traffic and congestion, and economic impacts of expansion on access and commercial interests.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house by November 1, 2017, with a copy provided to the secretary of state.

The committee and this law automatically expire on September 30, 2018.
