Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-1602 to add criminal street gang or criminal syndicate activity as a factor in determining criminal damage charges.

Class 5 felony criminal damage now applies when property damage of $2,000-$10,000 is inflicted to promote, further, or assist a criminal street gang or criminal syndicate with intent to intimidate.

Retains existing criminal damage classifications for other damage amounts: class 4 felony ($10,000+), class 6 felony ($1,000-$2,000), class 1 misdemeanor ($250-$1,000), and class 2 misdemeanor (under $250).

Preserves existing provisions regarding damage to utility property and graffiti, including damage calculation methods for repair costs.

Effective date: March 23, 2015 (date of gubernatorial approval).
