AZ SB1182

Amends section 16-316 to expand the secure online signature collection system for nomination petitions to include candidates for county, city, town, and school district offices, in addition to statewide and legislative candidates.

Allows candidates to collect any number of required nomination petition signatures or contribution qualification forms (or both) through the online system, removing the previous limit of up to one-half of required signatures or forms.

Requires the secretary of state to maintain a secure internet portal that verifies qualified elector eligibility and identity before allowing signature or contribution form submission.

Makes the amendments effective only upon affirmative vote of at least three-fourths of the members of each house of the legislature, per Arizona Constitution article IV, part 1, section 1.
