Expands the definition of "safe haven provider" to explicitly include the health care institution where a newborn infant was born, allowing parents to deliver newborns at birth hospitals without criminal liability.

Requires fire stations and hospitals classified as general or rural general hospitals to post a public notice with "baby safe haven" in bold capital letters at least two inches high indicating they accept newborn infants.

Clarifies that safe haven providers are not liable for civil damages if they act in good faith without gross negligence when taking custody of a newborn infant left with them.

Allows parents or agents to remain anonymous when delivering a newborn infant to a safe haven provider, and requires safe haven providers to offer written information about referral organizations.

Requires health care institutions that receive foundlings through the safe haven process to comply with birth registration requirements for foundlings under section 36-335.
