Removes nunchaku from Arizona's list of prohibited weapons by deleting the definition that previously classified instruments consisting of two or more sticks, clubs, bars or rods connected by rope, cord, wire or chain as prohibited weapons.

Updates cross-references throughout Arizona Revised Statutes sections 13-3101, 13-3102, and 13-3110 to account for the removal of nunchaku from the prohibited weapons list.

Adds a new exception allowing possession of nunchaku for lawful exhibitions, demonstrations, contests, or athletic events involving the use of such weapons.

Maintains all other prohibited weapon classifications, including explosives, automatic firearms, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, and improvised explosive devices.
