Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 15-2402 regarding Arizona empowerment scholarship accounts to modify the funding calculation for qualified students.

Changes the funding transferred to empowerment scholarship accounts from "the sum of the base support level and additional assistance prescribed in sections 15-185 and 15-943" to a more general reference to "funding that would have been received by the school district where that student resides."

Maintains the 90 percent funding transfer to empowerment scholarship accounts and 5 percent retained by the department of education, with 1 percent transferred to the state treasurer, but clarifies the funding amount basis.

Makes technical corrections including changing "per cent" to "percent" and "curriculum" to "curricula" throughout the statute.

Preserves all existing eligibility requirements, allowable uses of funds, and renewal procedures for empowerment scholarship accounts.
