AZ HB2090

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 25-101 to change terminology from "brothers and sisters" to "siblings" and clarifies prohibitions on marriage between relatives.

Expands the list of prohibited marriages to explicitly include marriages between uncles and nieces or nephews, and between aunts and nieces or nephews.

Repeals the provision prohibiting marriage between persons of the same sex.

Allows first cousins to marry if both are 65 years of age or older, or if either cousin is under 65 and one cousin is unable to reproduce with court approval.

Bill becomes effective only if Arizona voters approve a constitutional amendment removing the constitutional prohibition on marriage equality at the next general election.
