AZ HB2099

Establishes "child developmental certified homes" as regular foster homes licensed by the Department of Child Safety and certified by the Department of Economic Security to care for foster children with developmental disabilities.

Requires regular foster homes to apply for certification as child developmental certified homes if the Department of Child Safety places a foster child with developmental disabilities in the home or a child in the home is determined to have a developmental disability.

Limits child developmental certified homes to a maximum of five foster children at any one time, with no more than three having developmental disabilities, and restricts placement of additional children unless the home is recertified.

Requires the Department of Child Safety and Department of Economic Security to coordinate licensing, certification, monitoring, and share information including monitoring reports, investigations, and licensing changes for child developmental certified homes.

Makes terminology changes throughout the developmental disabilities statutes and repeals section 36-595.03 related to secure facilities.
