AZ HB2195

Establishes the Veterans' Reintegration Act in Arizona law to provide unpaid leave for employees with recently returned or currently active military family members.

Allows employers to grant up to two consecutive workweeks of unpaid leave to employees whose immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, or sibling) were honorably discharged from the armed forces within the previous nine months or are active duty members who served in a combat zone within the previous 90 days.

Requires employees to provide written notice to their employer at least two weeks before the leave begins.

Limits employers to providing this unpaid leave once per consecutive 12-month period per employee.

Mandates that employers must grant the unpaid leave regardless of whether the employee has other available leave time or is otherwise eligible for time off.
