Requires school districts to annually notify the Department of Education of all pupils suspected of sustaining a concussion during practice, games, or interscholastic athletic activities.

Mandates that pupils suspected of concussion be immediately removed from athletic activity, with return-to-play decisions made by trained health care providers following established protocols.

Establishes that pupils may return to play same-day only if a health care provider rules out concussion at the time of removal, or on subsequent days with written clearance from a provider trained in concussion evaluation and management.

Protects health care providers, school districts, coaches, officials, and volunteers from civil liability for good faith implementation of concussion management requirements, except in cases of gross negligence or willful neglect.
