Community college districts are prohibited from charging fees to nonprofit groups exempt from federal income taxes under IRC Section 501(c)(3) for use of athletic facilities on campus.

The prohibition does not apply if the nonprofit group's use of athletic facilities directly results in significant additional expenses to the community college district.

Community college districts may still require nonprofit groups to provide proof of insurance and indemnify the district against liability for loss or damages at the athletic facilities.
