Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 32-2523 to modify continuing education requirements for physician assistant licensure renewal.

Physician assistants renewing licenses every two years must complete 40 hours of category I continuing medical education from approved accrediting organizations.

The board shall randomly audit at least 10 percent of physician assistants renewing their licenses who do not hold a current approved national certification.

Adds new provision allowing physician assistants holding a certification in good standing from a board-approved certifying body to satisfy the continuing medical education requirement at renewal.
