Amends section 46-172 of Arizona Revised Statutes to establish and expand the lifespan respite care program administered by the Department of Economic Security.

Changes program eligibility from serving individuals who "qualify for" other publicly funded respite services to those who "receive" such services, expanding potential participant pool.

Extends the program termination date from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2025 under the sunset review process specified in section 41-3102.

Appropriates $250,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2016-2017 to fund the lifespan respite care program.

Program duties include coordinating with other respite services, supporting a statewide respite coalition, studying respite care needs across the lifespan, training provider resources, linking families with providers, and creating care quality evaluation tools.
