Persons receiving photo enforcement violation notices for speeding or traffic control device violations are not required to identify who is in the photo or respond to the notice.

Photo enforcement violation notices must state that they are not court-issued documents and recipients have no obligation to identify the person or respond.

Alternative service of process for photo enforcement citations must be sent by certified mail with a regular mail copy and posted notice on the front door and garage door if accessible.

Driving privileges may not be suspended or revoked as a result of citations served by alternative service of process.

The amendment is effective December 31, 2016.
