Adds a new prohibition to Arizona's misconduct involving weapons statute making it unlawful to store a firearm without using a lock and key, combination lock on the trigger, or placing the firearm in a securely locked box or container.

Classifies the new firearm storage violation as a class 1 misdemeanor offense.

Applies to the same defenses and exemptions as other misconduct involving weapons provisions, including exemptions for peace officers, military personnel, and other authorized individuals.

Makes violation of the firearm storage requirement punishable the same as violations involving carrying concealed deadly weapons without proper authorization or failing to disclose possession to law enforcement.
