AZ HB2650

Adds Article 34 to Title 13, Chapter 38 of Arizona Revised Statutes regarding law enforcement officer use of force investigations.

Requires that when a law enforcement officer uses deadly physical force in official duties resulting in death, an outside investigator, law enforcement officer from a different agency, or county attorney from another county must conduct the investigation.

Prohibits the same law enforcement agency as the officer involved from conducting the investigation into the officer's use of deadly force.

Requires the outside investigator, law enforcement officer, or county attorney to provide investigation results to the county attorney of the county where the deadly force occurred.
