AZ HCR2001

Recognizes the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame (AVHOF) established in 2001 to honor meritorious military veterans from all service eras, branches, and backgrounds.

Acknowledges that more than 600,000 military veterans reside in Arizona and have made significant contributions to the state's society and safety.

Notes that since 2001, the AVHOF has inducted 36 Medal of Honor recipients and 295 other distinguished veterans, with annual induction ceremonies held each year.

Recognizes that AVHOF inductees formed the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society in 2007 to collectively work for the continued good of others.

Directs the Legislature to support Arizona's military veterans and their families, and to recognize the exemplary service and accomplishments of those inducted into the AVHOF.
