AZ HCR2005

Proposes amendment to Article VII, Section 6 of the Arizona Constitution relating to residence of military personnel stationed within the state.

Replaces outdated language "soldier, seaman, or marine, in the army or navy" with modern term "military personnel of the United States."

Maintains the existing legal provision that military personnel stationed at military or naval facilities within Arizona shall not be deemed state residents based on such stationing.

Changes gender-specific pronoun "his" to gender-neutral language in the constitutional text.

Requires submission of the proposed amendment to Arizona voters at the next general election for approval.
