Repeals subsection D of section 28-3153, Arizona Revised Statutes, which previously required proof of authorized presence in the United States to issue or renew driver licenses and nonoperating identification licenses.

Eliminates the requirement that the Department of Motor Vehicles verify an applicant's authorized presence in the United States under federal law before issuing driver licenses.

Removes restrictions on accepting driver licenses from other states as primary identification based on whether those states require lawful presence verification.

Removes the requirement for the director to adopt rules establishing procedures for verifying applicant status and issuing temporary driver permits pending verification.
