Creates a new crime under Arizona law prohibiting any person from knowingly video recording law enforcement activity without permission from a law enforcement officer if within 20 feet of where the activity is occurring.

Allows an exception for persons authorized to be on private property who record from an adjacent room or area less than 20 feet away, unless a law enforcement officer determines the person is interfering or creating a safety hazard and orders them to stop or leave.

Explicitly states the law does not establish any right to video record law enforcement activity.

Classifies a first violation as a petty offense; subsequent violations or failure to comply with a verbal warning becomes a class 3 misdemeanor.
