• Adds "sexual orientation," "gender identity," and "veteran status" as protected classes in Arizona's public accommodations discrimination law, prohibiting discrimination in places of public entertainment, food service, lodging, and other public establishments.

• Extends employment discrimination protections to include sexual orientation, gender identity, and veteran status alongside existing protections for race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, and national origin.

• Adds sexual orientation, gender identity, and veteran status as protected classes in housing discrimination law, covering the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, as well as real estate-related transactions and brokerage services.

• Clarifies that when sex is a bona fide occupational qualification, individuals must be recognized as qualified based on their gender identity.

• Defines the new protected classes: "gender identity" as gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms or characteristics regardless of designated sex at birth; "sexual orientation" as homosexuality, heterosexuality or bisexuality; and "veteran status" as having served on active duty in the U.S. armed forces.
