Requires legislators to file a written statement when voting on bills where they have a direct financial interest, identifying the bill, their vote, and the nature of the financial interest.

Mandates statements be filed with the chief clerk of the House or secretary of the Senate and posted on each legislator's web page in a "disclosure of direct financial interest" section.

Requires disclosure to occur as soon as possible after the legislator's vote on the floor of either chamber.

Exempts votes that apply equally to all legislators by virtue of their employment and votes cast in committee of the whole.

Classifies intentional or knowing failure to comply as a class 1 misdemeanor, with "direct financial interest" defined as a financial benefit or detriment distinguishable from effects on the general public.
