AZ SB1367

Authorizes the Department of Administration to place a monument in the governmental mall commemorating Assyrian Christians killed in the Assyrian genocide.

Requires the procedures in Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1363 to be followed for establishing the monument.

Prohibits the use of public monies for monument costs; all fundraising and construction contracts are the sole responsibility of private proponents, and the state cannot facilitate fundraising or create a state fund.

Automatically repeals this authorization on September 30, 2019.
