Amends Section 44-1443 to require applicants for trademark and service mark registration to include a statement that they conducted a search confirming the mark does not resemble other registered or previously used marks in Arizona that could cause confusion.

Requires applicants to disclose whether they previously sought registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and, if denied, provide the reasons for denial.

Amends Section 44-1460 to require applicants registering trade names, titles, or designations to include a statement confirming they conducted a search verifying the name is distinguishable from other names on file with the secretary of state and from existing corporate names.

Updates gender-neutral language throughout both sections, changing references from "his" to "the applicant's."

Removes the requirement that applications be "verified" and makes minor technical corrections to statutory language.
