Prohibits mental health providers from engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with patients under 18 years of age, classifying such conduct as unprofessional conduct subject to disciplinary action.

Defines "mental health provider" to include psychiatrists licensed under chapter 13, psychologists licensed under chapter 19.1, and behavioral health professionals licensed under chapter 33 of Arizona Revised Statutes.

Defines "sexual orientation change efforts" as practices seeking to change a patient's sexual orientation, including efforts to alter behaviors, gender expressions, or romantic attractions toward same-sex individuals.

Excludes from the prohibition psychotherapies that provide acceptance, support, and understanding or facilitate coping skills and identity exploration without seeking to change sexual orientation, including neutral interventions to prevent unlawful conduct or unsafe sexual practices.
