Ratifies the proposed Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was adopted by Congress on March 22, 1972, by two-thirds majorities in both houses.

The Amendment states that equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State on account of sex.

Grants Congress the power to enforce the Amendment's provisions through appropriate legislation.

Provides that the Amendment shall take effect two years after the date of ratification.

Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit a copy of the resolution to the President of the U.S. Senate and Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
