Requires all school district and charter school vehicles funded with state monies to be equipped with an approved global positioning system (GPS) and reporting system by September 1, 2018.

GPS and reporting systems must be capable of accurately recording daily mileage for each vehicle and submitting that information to the Arizona Department of Education.

Collected mileage data will be used to verify daily route mileage and other associated costs.

Department of Education must approve GPS systems that comply with specific industry standards for trucking and transportation industries.
