Requires the person to have a good faith belief that the minor or animal is in imminent danger of physical injury or death before entering the vehicle.

Mandates notification of a peace officer, emergency medical service provider, first responder, or animal control agent before entering the vehicle.

Requires the person to remain with the minor or animal until the contacted official arrives at the motor vehicle.

Defines "domestic animal" as a dog, cat, or other domesticated animal kept as a household pet.
