Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 36-401 to add definitions for "recidivism reduction services" and "recidivism reduction staff" for adult residential care institutions.

Recidivism reduction services are defined as programs delivered to residents to encourage lawful behavior and prevent criminal activity among those suspected, charged, or convicted of offenses, or at risk due to mental health or substance use issues.

Allows adult residential care institutions authorized to provide recidivism reduction services to employ recidivism reduction staff exempt from standard employment requirements under Section 36-411, subsection E.

Requires recidivism reduction staff applicants to complete treatment as prescribed by rule and pass a background and screening evaluation demonstrating they are not a threat to staff or resident safety.

Permits only adult residents referred by court order, prosecutors, probation officers, or approved by licensed health care professionals to receive recidivism reduction services.
