• Provides civil immunity from liability to schools, school employees, health department officials, physicians, and nurse practitioners for good faith implementation of inhaler administration procedures, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or intentional wrongdoing.

• Allows schools to accept monetary donations and grants for inhaler and spacer purchases, and permits acceptance of direct donations from product manufacturers.

• Requires the State Board of Education to adopt rules for schools that elect to administer inhalers, including annual training requirements, designated trained personnel at each school, emergency procedures, and parent notification protocols.

• Creates broader authorization for authorized entities (recreation camps, day care facilities, youth sports leagues, amusement parks, restaurants, sports arenas) to acquire and administer inhalers under prescription in the entity's name, with trained employees and agents, and establishes similar civil immunity protections.
