Director of the Department of Corrections must submit an annual report by December 1 each year describing drug and alcohol treatment programs available to offenders under department jurisdiction.

Report must include program descriptions indicating whether services are for imprisoned offenders or those on community supervision/parole, current enrollment numbers, and total participants over the previous 12 months.

Report must identify the cost per offender for each program, funding sources, and the name of each treatment program provider.

Report must compare drug and alcohol treatment programs offered to offenders in department facilities, private prisons contracting with the department, and offenders on community supervision or parole.

Report must be submitted to the governor, president of the senate, speaker of the house of representatives, and the secretary of state.
