Arizona Board of Regents must provide tuition waivers for online courses at state universities to rural school district employees with an associate degree pursuing a bachelor's in education, or certificated teachers/administrators seeking graduate degrees related to their employment.

Community college districts must provide tuition waivers to classified employees of rural school districts who have not previously earned an associate or bachelor's degree and wish to obtain an associate degree, limited to classes with available capacity.

Recipients must meet standard admission requirements, maintain continuous progress toward their degree, and remain in good academic standing to retain tuition waiver eligibility.

"Rural school district" is defined as any Arizona school district with a student enrollment of 3,000 or less.

"Tuition" includes both tuition and mandatory fees charged by the university or community college.
