• Requires the task force to meet at least four times per year and conduct research, evaluate public awareness approaches, improve agency coordination, increase research funding, expand screening programs, and identify areas needing improvement in postpartum depression services.

• Designates the director of the Department of Child Safety's office of prevention as chairperson in odd-numbered years and the director of the Department of Health Services' bureau of women's and children's health as chairperson in even-numbered years.

• Requires task force members to serve five-year terms with eligibility for one additional term, with compensation limited to reimbursement of expenses for state agency representatives only.

• Mandates annual reports to the governor, senate president, and house speaker by November 15 of each year, with the task force terminating on July 1, 2025.
