• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-1104 to establish tiered mileage reimbursement rates for legislators based on distance from the state capitol.

• Legislators with permanent residences 50 miles or more from the state capitol receive reimbursement at the federal mileage reimbursement rate as determined annually by the U.S. General Services Administration.

• Legislators with temporary or permanent residences less than 50 miles from the state capitol receive reimbursement at one-third of the federal mileage reimbursement rate.

• Allows any member of the legislature to voluntarily accept a lower reimbursement rate than prescribed or to reject travel reimbursement entirely.
