Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 18-522 to require governmental agencies to develop commercially reasonable procedures to secure entity and personal identifying information collected or obtained.

Requires the Department of Administration to ensure all state computers use industry-standard systems for verifying strong passwords that are regularly updated.

Requires the Department of Education to ensure all school computers use industry-standard systems for verifying strong passwords that are regularly updated.

Mandates that both entity identifying information and personal identifying information be secured against compromise and encrypted when possible.

Does not restrict, diminish or affect the provisions of Arizona Title 39 (Public Records).
