Requires board members of condominiums to certify in writing within 30 days after election or appointment that they have read applicable statutes, condominium documents, and policies, and will uphold them in good faith.

Requires board members of planned communities to certify in writing within 30 days after election or appointment that they have read applicable statutes, community documents, and policies, and will uphold them in good faith.

Both certifications must include a signed statement acknowledging the board member has read the declaration, bylaws, and rules and will uphold them in discharging their responsibilities to the association.

Applies to all board members elected or appointed after termination of declarant control in condominiums and planned communities.
