Expresses legislative support for Arizona residents serving as military and veteran caregivers, recognizing approximately 5.5 million such caregivers nationwide who care for wounded, ill, or injured service members and veterans.

Acknowledges the multiple demanding responsibilities of military and veteran caregivers, including bathing, feeding, dressing, administering medications, and providing emotional support to those they care for.

Recognizes that many military and veteran caregivers experience mental, physical, and emotional health challenges as a result of their caregiving duties, as documented by research from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation.

Proclaims May 20, 2017 as Hidden Heroes Day in Arizona in conjunction with Military Appreciation Month to honor and recognize military and veteran caregivers.
