Provides civil liability protection for persons who use reasonable force to enter a locked, unattended motor vehicle to remove a minor or confined domestic animal in imminent danger.

Requires the person to notify a peace officer, emergency medical service provider, first responder, or animal control agent before entering the vehicle.

Protects only those who use no more force than necessary, remain with the minor or animal until authorities arrive, and have a good faith belief of imminent danger.

Removes liability protection if the person fails to follow these conditions or commits unnecessary or malicious damage to the vehicle.

Defines "domestic animal" as a dog, cat, or other domesticated animal kept as a household pet.
