AZ SB1017

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-101 to modify the definition of "electric personal assistive mobility device" to include devices with one wheel or two nontandem wheels.

Changes the definition to specify devices are self-balancing with an electric propulsion system limited to 15 miles per hour or less, designed to transport only one person.

Also corrects the definition of "neighborhood electric vehicle" to use the term "low-speed" instead of "low speed" for consistency with federal motor vehicle safety standards.

Effective upon approval by the Governor on March 14, 2017.
