Allows standard teaching certificates to be renewed for at least 8 years and no more than 10 years after expiration without additional requirements if the person has at least 10 years of verified full-time teaching experience in Arizona, is in good standing, and possesses a valid fingerprint clearance card.

Renewed certificates under this provision shall be identical to the expired certificate and require no other state board or department of education requirements.

Changes the language regarding doctoral degrees in specialized teaching certificates for science, technology, engineering, or mathematics instructors from "doctorate" to "doctoral degree."

Applies to all certificates and related endorsements or approved areas for experienced educators who meet the specified criteria.
