• Associations must respond within 10 business days of receiving a member's response with a written explanation including the violated provision, violation date, names of observers, and the dispute contest process.

• Associations are prohibited from enforcing violations or collecting attorney fees before or during the information exchange period unless the contest process was already provided in the original violation notice.

• Members retain the right to petition for an administrative hearing with the state real estate department pursuant to section 32-2199.01 at any time before or after the information exchange.
