Adds "duly appointed or certified private process servers" to the list of protected individuals under Arizona's aggravated assault statute (A.R.S. § 13-1204).

Assaults committed against private process servers engaged in official duties or resulting from execution of those duties are classified as aggravated assault under subsection A, paragraph 8(k).

Private process servers receive the same legal protections as other public servants including peace officers, prosecutors, teachers, healthcare practitioners, and judicial officers.

The classification and sentencing provisions for assaults on private process servers follow the existing framework for similar protected professions, making such assaults a class 6 felony.
