Repeals sections 15-153 and 15-153.01 of Arizona Revised Statutes and section 41-3017.09 relating to previous school safety program provisions.

Amends the school safety program to be administered by the Department of Education rather than a school safety program oversight committee, with review and approval by the state board of education.

Allows school districts and charter schools to apply for up to three fiscal years of funding by submitting proposals that include school safety needs assessment, law-related education plans, and plans for using trained school resource officers or juvenile probation officers.

Requires the Department of Education to evaluate program effectiveness and submit annual reports by November 1 to the governor, legislature, and secretary of state, including survey results and data on program impact.

Establishes July 1, 2025 as the program termination date, subject to sunset review by the auditor general, and allows the state board of education to approve renewal applications for up to an additional three fiscal years.
