Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 16-204 to establish consolidated election dates for political subdivisions and clarify which dates apply to different types of elections.

Beginning in 2014, candidate elections for any political subdivision (except special vacancy elections and recall elections) must occur only in even-numbered years on either the tenth Tuesday before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November or the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Non-candidate elections (including special elections, recall elections, and ballot measures) held in 2014 and later may be held on the second Tuesday in March, third Tuesday in May, the tenth Tuesday before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, or the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Requires transaction privilege tax authorization elections for counties, cities, and towns to be held only in even-numbered years on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Effective December 31, 2017.
