Prohibits employees of a school district and their spouses from serving on the governing board of that same school district.

Prevents persons related as immediate family who shared a household within four years prior from simultaneously serving on or running as candidates for a five-member school district governing board, except when one member is in their final year of office.

Allows qualified electors to bring lawsuits in superior court to enforce restrictions on family members serving on governing boards.

Defines "immediate family" as married couples and their children, and "household of residence" as the place of abode during applicable periods or address used for voter registration or property tax purposes.

Requires county school superintendents to publish candidate statements on their websites, with statements posted alphabetically by school district and candidate no later than 14 days before general election early ballots are mailed.
