SB 1292 - Arizona Competes Fund Amendments

• Adds "microenterprise" to the definitions section, defined as any business located in Arizona with ten or fewer employees, including start-ups, home-based businesses, and self-employed businesses.

• Requires that of monies reserved for small business and rural development grants under the Arizona Competes Fund, thirty percent or up to $1 million annually shall support microenterprise development in the state.

• Extends the termination date of the Arizona Competes Fund program from July 1, 2018 to July 1, 2026.

• Corrects statutory language by replacing "per cent" with "percent" throughout the relevant statutes.
