Amends Section 32-1322 of the Arizona Revised Statutes regarding qualifications for licensure as interns, embalmers, and funeral directors.

Modifies the requirement for funeral director licensure to require one year of active intern licensing instead of one year as a licensed embalmer.

Removes the requirement that funeral director applicants must have held an active embalmer license for at least one year.

Maintains existing requirements that funeral director applicants pass the funeral service arts section of the national board examination and the funeral director state laws and rules examination.

Retains the requirement that funeral director applicants assist in arranging and directing at least twenty-five funerals and be of good moral character.
