Amends section 41-2404 of Arizona Revised Statutes to modify the membership composition of the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission.

Adds two new appointed positions: one criminal defense attorney appointed by the governor and one member with criminal justice or indigent defense experience who is a representative of a Native American tribe or nation.

Specifies that these new members shall serve two-year terms terminating on the convening of the first regular session of the legislature.

Establishes staggered initial terms for the additional members, with one position ending January 9, 2018 and another ending January 8, 2019.

Maintains existing commission structure including the attorney general, director of public safety, director of corrections, fourteen governor-appointed members, and other specified officials.
