Prohibits use of department state compliance surveys or federal certification surveys of nursing care institutions, assisted living centers, assisted living homes, or skilled nursing facilities in advertisements unless specific requirements are met.

Requires advertisements using survey results to include the survey date, a statement that all facilities are surveyed at least once every 15 months, and the total number of findings and deficiencies cited.

Mandates inclusion of corrected findings information if deficiencies have been substantially corrected, including the correction date, and requires comparison to the average number of deficiencies for similar facilities in the same calendar year.

Requires advertisements to include a disclaimer statement that the advertisement is neither authorized nor endorsed by the department or any government agency.

Exempts criminal investigations and prosecutions from the restrictions on using survey results, statements of deficiencies, and cited findings.
